Sometimes you go on a trip and you remember all the things you did and saw, and sometimes the things you did and saw changes you as person forever. The march of the living was that trip. A year ago today I left for a journey I couldnt begin to wrap my head around. I didnt know how to feel or act as I saw the work and concentration camps. A year ago today I sat alone for 11 hours on the plane ride to Poland trying to prepare myself for something I knew I could never prepare for. The only thing I knew was that I wouldnt come back the same person. I knew that I will have seen things people cant even imagine to think about. Other than that, I was completely unprepared.
