Somewhat unrelated to being a Loadmaster. As we worked our way up - TopicsExpress

Somewhat unrelated to being a Loadmaster. As we worked our way up the ranks and attended the NCO schools, did anyone get any grief from the schools they attended because they were Enlisted Aircrew? I attended the prep school at Bolling Field in the early eighties. They were open with the fact that they didnt want anyone to attend their school that was on any type of flying status, to include PJs and CCT. It seems that there were more than one instance where a PJ or CCT member were told to take off their beret and unblouse their boots to attend their school and they quickly turned around returned to their base. We had Engineers and Loadmasters and made up half the class, they gigged us to death and didnt like our cavalier attitude. At the graduation dinner, out of the 8-12 awards handed out not a single aircrew received single one. Any similar experiences?
