Soon Imolites will behold the beauty of Owelles road construction - TopicsExpress

Soon Imolites will behold the beauty of Owelles road construction in Imo State. The people living at Egbeada Housing are already getting coated in mud before they leave their homes while that roundabout at Akwakuma is gradually turning from comfort to nightmare for drivers. The rain is just starting and the Chukwuma Nwoha road built barely months ago is already shaking. The thrice constructed Douglas House/State CID road is falling apart already even when the rains havent picked up steam. A friend came back from Orlu the other day and asked Where is the roads those sycophants say this man is building in Orlu? We are still talking and the new road that connects to ABA road has already started shivering. I wonder what will happen to people living at Nekede when the rain finally picks up. Mechanic Village will become a sorrier sight to behold soon and the number of car owners visiting mechanics is bound to increase with the total collapse of the so-called Owelle new roads. I do really pity Imolites but I pity most of all that person who will clap for substandard and inadequate roads rather than insist on quality. Imo, I am sorry, we don use our hand buy bad market and pride and downright stupidity no wan gree many of us admit say we make mistake. Well whether or not we like it, the rains have arrived and soon, Owelles roads will be put to the test. If Mbakwe roads could survive almost twenty-five years without scattering and Udenwa roads at Orlu last over ten years and Ohakims Egbu, Iho and Umuaka roads lasting for over six years without falling apart, it baffles me why Egbu Housing road or Aladinma hospital road have not lasted up to a year and are already turning into death traps. The rains have arrived, it is time for God to wash away the cobwebs covering the eyes of Ndi Imo and to wash away the filth in the land. Ka Chineke mezie okwu. Comrade Obinna Akuwudike
