Soooo we just got a lunch break during this acting intensive and after finding a food spot, getting the food, going back upstairs, something inspires in me and I realize Id rather eat outside. So I go back downstairs and outside and cross broadway to sit on these benches. Instinctively I find a spot that just feels right and I sit down. Unbeknownst to me, I look over after sitting down and I notice a homeless dude chilling on the bench. We make eye contact and I smile and offer him half of my lunch. He accepts and we just chill there in this moment sharing a meal together. No words, just comfort in the presence of one another. As we finish, he thanks me, I take his trash for him, hand him my drink and send him well wishes as we part ways with eye contact and acknowledgement. Listen to your intuition as it speaks, it always guides us properly. This is another moment of gratitude, another moment of connection, another moment in the oneness of us. And I am honored.
