Sooooo, our grumpy neighbors at 37 Golders Road just told my children off and freaked them out!.... Happily playing with the ball in the front yard, they threw it over the fence where it hits the side of the neighbors house and bounces onto their lawn. The kids look over the fence to see where it went and they get yelled at to get off... then when they are going to go and ask if they could collect it, the neighbors yell at them why dont you ask if you can get it. They come home empty handed and scared. I take them back over to ask politely if they can have their ball back. Apparently the neighbors are sick of the ball hitting their house and expect the kids not to play in our front yard EVER! They even said that they would start throwing balls at our house. Very calmly, i said that the kids try their best to keep it on our side of the fence and i didnt find his comment funny. To which i get a door in the face. In 12 years we have broken ONE of their windows and happily payed for it as it was our accident. I told the children that in life, you are going to come across grumpy/angry people like that and nothing makes them happy, so you just have to realise its not your fault and deal with it. BUT seriously!!?? How dare you scare my children. Dont mess with a Mumma Bear protecting her cubs!
