Sorry I dont like to rant but... I am a huge hater of seeing pictures on here of injured animals and hearing stories of cruelty or neglect of animals, they usually bring tears to my eyes. I think anyone who could hurt an animal or even let one suffer is a disgrace!!! I will admit I have an uncontrolable phobia of moths they actually terrify me but I even hate to kill a moth!! So, I was just reading the court result list on the RSPCA website and I read this: A Burnie woman appeared in the Burnie Magistrates Court on 09/12/2013 for the offence of inappropriate management of a dog. The penalty issued was no conviction and to be of good behaviour for 3 years, including not committing any animal welfare offences in that time. THE ANIMAL IN QUESTION HAS BEEN RETAINED BY HER. THE PHOTOS WERE CONSIDERED TOO GRAPHIC TO DISPLAY. I have capitolised the problem I saw... I just dont understand how this woman supposedly got off with NOT EVEN A FINE!!! And she got the dog BACK!!! but the photos were TO GRAPHIC to display... my mind does not comprehend this. If this poor baby was in bad enough shape the RSPCA couldnt even show the photos (they have some pretty horrific photos up) I just cannot get how this poor excuse for a woman got the dog back. I dont give two hoots if she gets fined or any of that nonesense but to let her have the dog back... I actually dont believe I could think much lower of a person, then of one who could hurt an animal.
