Sorry for not updating sooner. We stay busy coaching, supporting , praying for and loving on dad and also doing the same for mom. Dad has been her world for 42 years. Shes been with him since she was 17 years old. Dad is still critical but hes still staying strong. He is making baby step progress. He remains on life support , they are weaning some of the settings as the labs allow them to and as they show he tolerates it. He has been weaned off the medications he has needed to keep his blood pressure up(he was on 4 a couple days ago) his kidneys are working but slowly. They expected him to need dialysis , but hes fought hard enough to not have to have that yet. He will lose most or part of his left hand due to a clot that cut the circulation off. He couldve had a procedure to remove the clot and try to save his hand but he was too critical to go through that at the time it couldve possibly saved it. .so They told us life or limb, meaning his life or his hand ... and without blinking of course we chose his life. He has a long road ahead , but with our faith and prayers and everyone elses we know dad will and continues to move forward , he continues to make progress. Thank you to every single one of you who prays along with us for him, God has been answering those prayers , hes definitely helping dad ...my dad had a turn around yesterday that only God had control of .. The doctors told us they were close to doing everything they could do and dad wasnt responding to it, and they were almost at the max, just hours later that all changed. God helped dad turn that all around. It was an awesome rewarding feeling for us to hear the drs come in and say dad was now giving them something to work with. Please help us keep those prayers coming.
