Sorry ladies, just researching facts about running and Ive got to post this one.......When you run in a group not only do you get the typical health benefits, but you are also creating bonds. Creating a bond with someone is important to achieve your goals. It’s easier to create a bond with a running partner or running group for one simple reason: love. When you run you create and use the same hormones that you display when you first fall in love with someone except at an accelerated pace. Your heart is racing, you get all sweaty, and you release oestrogen and norepinephrine (adrenaline). Our bodies are mechanical and repetitive. We won’t fall in love with our running partner in the sense that we want to make babies with them, but we will form a strong and solid relationship. One built on support and trust. Think I can say that this sounds like M2Ms.
