Soul consciousness means achieving a stage of consciousness where i no longer give nor take sorrow. Having mercy is oh so different from taking the burden of another persons sorrow. When a person would rather have another persons sorrow rather than they go thru that they are not understanding anothers journey. The key is that they are going thru that. It means they are moving toward something thats out from sorrow. When you go thru a tunnel you do so not because you enjoy being in a tunnel but because it leads to an opening. They themselves say you dont know what im going thru. Deeply inside there is a memory that they also know that sorrow takes them somewhere that is good. Our habit to ask questions at the wrong time creates a lot of giving and taking sorrow. Let it be means it doesnt occupy my mind. It does not forge a link with the intellect and mess up my discrimination and judgement powers. Confusion comes from asking questions about the wrong things and adds to sorrow. One is confused and in pain and i add to that. All of us love to be in front of a person who is a rock and helps my inner strength return to me. Now become that rock that does not take sorrow.
