Source NRL Horo backs Sea Eagles forward pack!!! The Sea Eagles will head into Friday night’s clash at the SCG looking to get another one over the South Sydney forward pack, led by the Burgess Brothers. Manly came away on top the last time these two sides met in round two and much was made about the physicality and leadership shown by club stalwart Jason King. The veteran front-rower went head on with the Rabbitohs forward pack and inspired his side to victory. Returning from a three-week suspension, second rower Justin Horo heaped praise on King following his performance that night. “Yeah that was good, we enjoyed that. That was after I made an error and Kingy came to my aid, so I appreciated that,” Horo said. Horo is under no illusions as to who his side must stop this week if they are to come away on top. “They’re [Rabbitohs forward pack] playing some really good footy of late, we all know what they’ve got to offer so it’s going to be a big game,” Horo said. “They’re known as an elite pack, they’ve proved over the last couple of years that they’re tough to handle when those boys get going. “I’m pretty sure if we get over them it’s going to be a tough battle through the middle. Whilst the Manly forward pack may lack household names such as the Burgess Brothers, Horo conceded that this doesn’t worry them as they head into Friday night’s game. “We’re pretty confident within ourselves as a pack and we’ve just kind of been doing our job,” Horo said. “We feel we’ve got the backs to finish off the job if we can hold our own. “There’s no really big egos in this team, I’m happy being a part of the forward pack and if we are getting wins and looking at where we are on the ladder, that is all that matters to me.
