Special Update From Pastor Dion 09.02.2014: “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 KJV Hello there, Thank you for reading this. It has been an exciting week since my last update. As I told you, after much fasting, prayer and dreams, the Lord told me to step back from Peace Be With U Ministries, so I gave my notice and sent you my last letter. I had no idea what was coming and was preparing my resume` to start looking for work. Sometimes He does not tell you where you are going, until you actually take the first step that He already told you about. I felt that I should continue writing because it is part of my calling and I often have a “burden” to write that will not lift until I do. My wife, Sylvia, and I have had a small ministry where I post my writings each day called Refreshing Hope Ministries - refreshinghope.org which only has about fifty readers. I planned to step back from PBWU, get a job, then start building Refreshing Hope in my spare time until the Lord opened the next door for me. That would allow me to keep writing as well as earn a living. I planned to turn the Prayer Network and Daily Encouraging Word back over to Cass (the owner of PBWU) for him to continue. Well, I gave my notice and then we both prayed about it all weekend. Cass decided to turn the Prayer Network and the Devotional over to me. I have been taking care of it for the last two years and wrote the prayer network from scratch. The Daily Word is already mailed out from my own equipment here. Cass decided that this was what the Lord wanted, it was the best route for him, for me, and for the ministry. In exchange, I will use my background in computer networking to help him with I.T. maintenance on his servers there. This comes as much as a surprise to me as it does to you, but I feel that this is the path the Lord has for us. We plan to consolidate everything under Refreshing Hope Ministries, the prayer network, the devotional and teachings. It looks like I will be able to continue writing the devotional, be a pastor, and pray with all of you. It is just under new management. Peace Be With U will continue as a Christian store and media network, but Refreshing Hope will now be the ministry. That said, we will be starting off with no money, $0 and no job. I may have to find some work to get us by until we can build the ministry up, and that is ok. But if there is ever a time that you thought you might support us financially, please consider doing it. Anything would help us at the moment to get this off the ground, as well as keep electricity to the server room. Refreshing Hope Ministries is already a 501c3 non-profit organization and your gift is tax deductible. We understand that not everyone can give, that is OK! Pray for the Lord to guide us, provide for us, and continue to give us His vision. For those you that have set up recurring donations to PBWU, if you wish to support the ministry then you will need to change them over. We looked into a way to migrate them, but that appears impossible. All current donations are going into the store account, and not the ministry account as of now. We will be glad to help you with this if you need us. We will be continuing to send you the daily word, though it will soon have a new look. If you do not see it then please check your spam folder. I feel an expectation in the air that something good is about to happen and am just taking it one step at a time. If we can get the ministry rolling, grow our reach, enhance the prayer network and put more time into writing, we can help a lot of people experience the personaluch of the Lord Jesus.
