Spent a wonderful day yesterday with this sweet family, my son, daughter-in-law and the Grandkids. What could be more fun than Medieval Times with 3 excitable children? They were all eyes and, as always, very eager to learn about everything. Of course, the gift shop was our first stop as Nana spoiled them with anything they wanted and naturally they loved everything. Gabe decided on a knights armor set, a felt vest the color of our knight (yellow) and a large flag the same color. He wasnt crazy about being yellow till I pointed out that he was the same color as the Pittsburgh Steelers, then he was happy! Baby Stella quickly picked out a pink stuffed unicorn, a girly light up sword, and a sweet headband. And then there was our Sophia who could NOT make up her mind, she loves everything! After debating for a long while and trying on quite a few, she ends up with 3 princess crowns( all different), a girly light up sword and a keychain for her purse. Oh, gosh, I love these kids!!! Then we went into the arena to watch the wonderful horse show which was spectacular. We ate a delicious meal, with our hands of course, and cheered our knight on to victory! He didnt win but who cares cause we were having a great time. Such a terrific way for kids to have fun and learn at the same time. I am all about that! When it was over and we were leaving the 4:30 show and Gabe found out there was a 7:30 show he saidcan we stay and watch it again? That is how you know he really had fun! After the show they each came and gave pappy and I a big kiss and hug and said thanks for bringing us today. Talk about melting your heart and Im thinking gosh if that is their reaction, what can we do next??
