Spent five hours in Kent today at the Kent Festival next to the Kent RTC tent meeting the public. They could not have had more perfect summer weather and the town was filled with people shopping the stores, booths, sidewalk sales, walking their dogs, dining at all the restaurants. I was accompanied by my favorite princess, Maggie, who was modeling a brand new hot pink coat with the words Vote For Mark on both sides. Campaign committee member Scott Harvey was also there to help out. Maggie and I walked up and down Main street on both sides several times during the afternoon, enjoying the passersby. Good time talking to 64th district voters, many of whom remembered me from the my six months of door canvassing. Received the most enthusiastic support that any candidate could wish for. Very encouraging, as the primary looms ahead in a few days.
