Spent last night with this song repeating in my head. Thoughts of family, friends and, acquaintances who have died and remembering the last time I saw them alive. It was bittersweet and found myself thinking if I only did something different, what then? After my surgery in April I suffered the worst depression I ever have in September. I relied on my faith and this song to get me through. The song was written about the singers friend who committed suicide because they lingered where the moss slowly grows. Ive known a few people who have attempted or succeeded suicide and this song reminds me of them and others who died from things out of their control. Ill see them again.
