Spent the afternoon driving through old Vancouver haunts: - TopicsExpress

Spent the afternoon driving through old Vancouver haunts: Granillie Island shopping, Kits, the West End and staring at the apartment I used to rent, Stanley Park. Then off to watch the Lions Gate Chorus ROAR in the rehearsal. Loved seeing how an A level chorus warms up (with energy and great sound), loosens up (with smooth, well measured choreo! And high energy music) and then reviews their repertoire (solidly, and with energy). Got to spend most of the evening with the awesome Lisa Hood , talking about the upcoming Harmony Hollow (only two weeks! Reserve your cabin now!) and then trying my hand at sight singing the bass line to Footloose next to the equally awesome Cammi MacKinlay (Note to self: learn to sight-read, and practice hitting a low C, and a D, and a D, and a D...) Thanks to Sandy for the warm welcome and the Lions Gate Chorus for being so much fun!
