Spent the afternoon yesterday in the ER due to sudden swelling in my neck for an unknown reason. My doctor said to go straight to the ER for fear it would affect my breathing. The ER physician was wonderful. Weird as it sounds, a duct in my mouth got stopped up by either debri or a stone (similar to kidney stones) which resulted in the swelling. Solution? Antibiotics, pain pills and told to eat the most sour candy I could stand, like Warheads, to dispel the stone/debris. I told him my dentist would not be happy! ha I am to follow up with an Eye, Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist. Today the swelling is down some, but it is still very sore. Hoping to feel better tomorrow. BTW...Warheads are TERRIBLE!
