Spoiler-free X-Men: Days of Future Past thoughts: *This is easily the best X-Men film theyve done yet. Days of Future Past has for a long time been my favourite X-Men story arc and thankfully they managed to walk that very thin line of making it a story that will appeal to non-fans yet still keeping it faithful enough to the original concept that comic book fans will love it. *The scripting was amazing. *It was very heavy hitting and shocking in parts. The first action sequence in particular left me speechless. *The make-up department did a great job in making the eternally young-looking Ellen Page look like a woman in her early-thirties who had seen far too much. *Maybe its just that Im very partial to the punk-rock/alt look on women, but Fan Bing-Bing as Blink was hot as hell. *The scenes with Quicksilver steal the show, both for their amazing use of 3D and their comic timing. Would watch again in the cinema just for those scenes. *The post-credits scene teases the next film (Age of Apocalypse) really well, without hinting anything towards the story. Scene is located after the end of the credits, with no mid-credits scene. Seriously, go see this in the cinema in 3D. It is awesome beyond belief.
