Program Director, Angie Garbaczewski, has been wanting to include this in her program. Together with local artist, Sergio David Rojas, they instructed the class on the fairly simple technique. This particular form of art is usually applied to actual tree trunks and has been around since the 1800′s. Gyotaku has become popular in the West among all age groups.
