Sprint Car Spotlight: Kory Crabtree, The Driver and Graduate As one of the most fan favored drivers from track to track, Kory rarely goes unnoticed in his neon green number 60 machine. Kory is sponsored by B&P Miller, Mikes Trucking and Millhone Motorsports. He is currently sitting in 3rd place in OVSCA and 2nd place In Skyline Speedway points. At the young age of 18, Kory has already chalked up nine 410 feature wins and 5 cart championships. He pilots a Maxim chassis loaded with a Fisher Performance engine. Kory has raced with OVSCA since 2010 and consistently competes weekly rarely finishing outside of the top ten. In 2010, Kory was recognized and awarded as the only driver with perfect season attendance. Kory has been racing at a variety of levels for 10 years but he recently began racing 410 sprints at the age of 14. He has already progressed into quite the successful and accomplished driver early in his career. When we asked Kory what his favorite memory in a sprint was, he stated “beating Danny Smith for the win at Wayne County.” Although Kory considers Skyline Speedway his “home” track, his favorite places to race are KC Raceway and Southern Ohio Speedway. Kory just marked up another win at Southern this past weekend! He credits his dad and former driver, Keith and mom Kim as well as Tony Rawlins for his on-track success. In addition to his success on the track, June 9 the 18 year old driver graduated high school. In recognition of his academic success, Kory has been chosen to be in this week’s Sprint Car Spotlight!
