St. Maarten - A local businessman was robbed on Saturday evening in the district of Madame Estate. Reports state that the man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and his Gray KIA Rio car with license plate number AAA483. The report states that the man who is known as "Robert of Roberts Wielding" was entering his home which is located on Grenada Road in Madame Estate when he was surprised by two armed bandits. They proceeded to beat and tie the businessman up in his home before robbing him of his money and car. The car was discovered on Sunday morning in the district of Hope Estate. An on the spot investigation was observed being carried out by the police and their forensic team after which the car was removed by a tow truck.
