St. Michaels laid a good man and his lovely wife to rest today. Father Andrew Mephams funeral was this morning. His wife, Florence, died four years ago and her ashes have been patiently waiting for Andrews to join them. Now theyre together again in St. Michaels memory garden and in heaven. Im not certain how time is measured in heaven - if its measured at all - but if theres a day to seize; Andrew and Florence will seize it with joy, now and forever! Godspeed, lovely souls. And, as C. S. Lewis would say, Onward and upward! Toward the light!
