For I want you to know, that in every battle, you will need faith as your shield, in order to stop the fiery arrows that are being constantly aimed at you by Satan." -- Ephesians 6:14-16 Remember my beloved, we do not have enough strength on our own, when it comes to resisting the very tempting and luring things of this world. For if we are to be successful from within this area of our lives, make no mistake, we’re going to need God’s help. For it’s with the help of God, that what may seem impossible, becomes possible. Know that it will benefit us greatly, if we learn to fully trust God, regardless of what lies before us. May I suggest, that you do your best, to develop the type of faith, to where you know for certain, that you can pray for God’s grace and assistance; and not only that, have the confidence in knowing, that God will answer that prayer. This is why I believe, that faith is often referred to, as being a shield. For I like to think, that it allows us to be steadfast, when it comes to who we are, in the Lord; as we find ourselves doing spiritual warfare from within our day to day. For it’s through the faith that we have in Christ, that we’re being constantly defended, protected… regardless of what life challenges we may be facing. Never forget, that there’s no weapon, or tactic, that the enemy can throw (or enact) against us, that will prosper. For it’s by the grace and promises of God, which was made available through our acceptance of Christ the Good Shepherd, that we know for certain, that these things are true.
