Standing on the Side of Racial Justice Date and time: 09/14/2014 - 9:00am & 11:00am Worship Leader: Rev. Ellen Quaadgras What does it mean to “stand on the side of love” in a racially, culturally and economically polarizing world? The recent shooting death of Michael Brown and its aftermath in Missouri illuminate deeply rooted tensions that far too often pass under the radar in public dialog. Let us reflect together on what an open-hearted response to the racial realities of our modern day might look like. What might it mean, for us, to stand on the side of racial justice? To stand on the side of love? There will be religious education classes this week, and there will be childcare provided at 9am for children 6 months to 3 years of age.
