Standing on the street corner yesterday was once again a fun experience. I had several people stop to get pictures.. which has never happened before. A couple drove past me and then turned around and came back. The wife took a picture of him and I together to show to his kids... I am sure there is a story in that somewhere. I swear someone tried to run over me but as I watched him drive into the distance... I saw that he simply preferred the middle of the road rather than sticking to his own lane. I saw my little neighbor boy who now has 4 kids of his own.... he had all those sweet munckins in the car.. they were very surprised to learn that their dad had gown up living next door to the Easter Bunny. 3 young guys pulled up on motorcycles.... the fun thing was I had paper bunnies in EACH of those colored cycles.... Yellow.. Lime Green..And Blue. So they all had bunnies to match their rides... Then the next cycle that pulled up I offered him a paper bunny and he asked me where the hell I thought that he would put it..... Yes, I did indeed have to bite my tongue not to reply what I was thinking. This is always such a study in humane nature for me.... I could of made a fortune... many had money in their hand as they approached me, not even knowing what I could possibly be collecting for. I think those were the most surprised... They simply got a paper bunny with a cotton tail and a wish for a Happy Easter. But it still is mind boggling to me what some people will do to AVOID me all together.... Some were even people that I knew.... I am certain this would make a great case study for someones Physiology class.... Thanks to all for at least made eye contact and waved.... I am already looking forward to next year..... I hope you all had a Happy Easter.. I know that I did! I have the most beautiful Town Crier outfit that I am dying to wear... I have my thinking cap on for the occasion to wear it...So if you see a Town Crier on the corner you can bet it will be ME!
