Started this morning in Delhi, then flew very close to the Nepal border and then drove for about 4 hours to Biratnagar, Nepal. Words cant describe the experience. What a beautiful country yet its beyond chaotic. Driving is not for the faint of heart. Dogs, goats and cows are everywhere. Tons of people walking, even more on bikes, then there are the pedicabs and then the cars and trucks. Everyone is going as fast as possible and lanes are not relative. The whole ride was through villages that looked like war torn villages. In spite of this and the abject poverty the people are so beautiful. The women are so beautiful and so well dressed. What a dichotomy.
