State of the G-man address: these last few weeks have been pretty - TopicsExpress

State of the G-man address: these last few weeks have been pretty rough on me and it looks like Ive got two more weeks before anything lets up. Ill admit Ive been down on myself lately and it seems like its been one thing after another. It started when I found out that financial aid was only covering 13 credit hours a semester. Im enrolled in 18 hours this term so obviously I owe quite a bit out of pocket. These money problems have been compounded by recent furnace problems as well as year-end personal property taxes. A few weeks ago I auditioned for a roll in a short film, and I was extremely disappointed in myself when I couldnt hardly talk after standing in front of people. For whatever reason that really put me in a funk. My self confidence was lost and I started to doubt my abilities. But its not all gloom and doom. I realize that Im not a good talker/speaker and for me to expect to be able to act is completely ludicrous. I need to focus on improving my strengths and accepting my limitations. I can only take 12 hours next semester which will push back my graduation date but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. Ill now have the time to work on more films and continue networking, which is where I need help. With this extra time, I want to come out with at least one piece of new content on my YouTube channel every other week. I want to say thanks to a few people; Kyle Kastanas for making me his best man, Christopher M. Halbert, Patty Lewellen and Eric Barnes for helping with a recent project, Jake Zavertnik for helping with my Audio project, David A Malone for having me on his film and being understanding when I dropped, and anyone else that has helped me out recently. Thanks for reading.
