Status update: I know many of you are curious as to what has been happening with my health. I am blessed and relieved to tell you there isn’t much to say! My recent c/t and lab results were unremarkable with the exception that one of the tumors decreased in size slightly and My Doctor is pretty sure everything is stable and doesn’t need to see me for 3 months and I don’t need another c/t for 6 months and there are no further rituxan treatments scheduled! I was a little concerned as I thought the tumor on my neck felt larger and feared the cancer was growing but my doctor assured me that these things wax and wane and although it did feel firmer, it really wasn’t any bigger and now today, it seems back to “normal” and I am relieved!! I am aware though that the cancer can at any time rear its ugly head and I could get worse and this form of cancer can change and become quite aggressive and if that happens, all bets are off and many more intense treatments may be needed and it still could be terminal. I still fatigue easily and am told that will probably be a fact of life. My cancer is more like a chronic disease rather than a terminal one so for that I am grateful and thank the Lord for allowing me to be able to watch my granddaughter grow and be here for all the people I love and care about!. There is ongoing research with medical advances and prayer I am confident a treatment and possible cure are not far off and I plan on being around for all of it! I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers and please, please keep it up as I believe they are helping! Our lives are quite hectic and I apologize that I do not keep in touch as well as I would like but I will try harder as I hope things will be settling down soon, hopefully rest, peace and quiet will be my normal and renewing friendships can happen as I miss many of you. Please accept my apologies and know I do care and I will continue to pray for all you!
