Staying Connected: What Does Her Life Really Look Like? Part 1: Im not the type of person to silently think to myself, Oh please! His/her life is not always as great as their Facebook Page!! But it has recently been brought to my attention that a lot of people DO have these thoughts & emotions about posts that come across their Facebook feed. For me, I just assume that people post what is good because they want to remember that moment by documenting it in cyberspace history, as well as share it with friends and family. I also assume that, like myself, airing dirty laundry on a daily basis would be rather depressing - for everyone. When I see adorable pictures, selfies, or grand statements about amazing their husband / wife, I immediately Like it. I love seeing / hearing about people celebrating the joys in their lives. On the flip side, when I read how horrible someones day has been, I not only Like it because it shows I read it and I care, but moreover because Im impressed they are not afraid to put themselves out there, despite the consequence or public humiliation that may ensue. I would love to ask, Which type are you? Cynical or supportive? But I am quite certain I wouldnt get any response!
