Stephanie Brisker Terrell asked, I really need some suggestions on curriculum. This is our first year homeschooling. We are a military family and not sure where our next assignment will be, so Im following the rules of DODEA for homeschooling. So my question is, What curriculum is accredited that others are using? We are currently using A Beka Video Streaming for grades 1, 3, and 6. My 1st and 3rd graders are doing very well. However, my 6th grader could do much better if she studied. Its so frustrating trying to get her to study so she can do well on her test. Its a constant fight of reminding her to study. Im thinking about changing her curriculum, because A Beka might be too much for her. She likes the one-on-one interaction. Im having to reteach a lot of things I thought she should have mastered by now. Thoughts? Suggestions?
