Stepping through the doors of a public library, you’ll find books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and other physical items that you can see, pick up, use, and in many cases take with you. You’ll also see public computers, as well as personal laptops, tablets and smartphones. Though physical items themselves, computers and other devices serve as view ports to a wealth of digital resources. While libraries may be best known for books, it is the content and not the delivery method that is important to fulfilling our role in the community. Our business is and always has been information.
