Steve Lloyd taught me live sound at college when I was seventeen years old. Whilst our contact in the intervening years has been minimal, I still feel a heavy loss today. Anyone who has had any involvement in Manchesters live music industry should be taking some time to consider his massive contribution tonight. Personally I shall be raising more than one drink in his honour. My thoughts are with his friends, family and those who worked closely with him.
