Steve and Beverly Stoehr honored in Cincinnati Steve and Beverly Stoehr, 2017 National Square Dance Convention ® General Chairman were among several individuals and groups recognized by the Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Board (CVB) during the CVBs 2014 Annual Meeting at the Duke Energy Convention Center March 5, 2014, in front of an audience of approximately 500 spectators and participants. Steve and Beverly were also were recognized by the City of Cincinnati with a Champion Award for their leadership in working with the Cincinnati CVB to bring the 66th National Square Dance Convention® to Cincinnati in 2017. Steve and Beverly and the Queen City Board will be working with the City of Cincinnati to bring 8 weeks of Square Dancing to beautiful Washington Park in downtown Cincinnati each fall until the National Convention June 21st -24th, 2017. The Queen City Board is hoping this visibility will help to increase our numbers and bring more dancers to the convention. Now that Steve and Beverly have started this movement bringing a National Convention back to Ohio, we invite all Square Dancing Ohioans and their neighbors to help us promote our National Square Dance Convention® by registering early and volunteering as you are able.
