Stevens Chan was not welcomed in a shopping mall with his guide dog. They were perhaps shocked and surprised at the phenomena because Leshawn is the only seeing-eye dog in the country. But since that experience other shopping malls have called him to tell him that he would be welcomed to come but to give them a couple of days notice and they can arrange for a concierge to accompany him -- they are concerned about unwanted attention from certain quarters.
