*** Stolen fishing equipment *** Police are appealing for information after the theft of high value fishing equipment in Billingham. The equipment, including three fishing rods, a fishing box and two bicycles were stolen from a shed at an address on Ullswater Road between 9.30pm on Thursday 4th September and 2.15am on Friday 5th September. The stolen equipment included a black Maver 401 competition rod, a Centuries Light fishing rod, a Century T1000 fishing rod and an Excalibur TT fishing rod, aswell as a black boardman bicycle and a white Apollo female’s bicycle. Anyone with information regarding the stolen items is asked to contact PC Andrew Evans on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
