THEME: YOUR SHIP TO DESTINY Reading: Gen 37:27. Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites... Dreaming is not enough and everybody dreams, but very few live to live in their dreams. Some just reach it and die, others dont even reach it. Some take too long to reach it that by the time they reach it, they are too old to really enjoy. One of the reasons is that we expect our way there to be conventional, what we are used to and a certain way in which weve set our mind that God is going to take us there. We tend to forget that Gods ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. Sometimes you think its your job that will ship you to your destiny, yet a sack comes and you either die of stress trying to get another one or it pushes you there with just a little bit of creativity. Another thinks all he needs is education, then God makes sure there is no one to sponsor him for that and he can either choose to die condemning and blaming everything he can, or rise up and raise above the challenges. All of us wish we could fly to our destiny, but we have had to walk there so far. Josephs dream actualization was to happen in Egypt, a 40 days travel from where he was. God with all His unlimited power did not fly him there, it cost him hate from his brethren, a life of slavery and a jail term!! Landlords kick us out of their rentals into our own because we serve the LORD of the land. If we wont fly, well sail there, if we wont sail well drive there, if we wont drive, well run, even walk or crawl; in any way, we must not only reach our destiny but also live in it and enjoy. In Jesus Name!! The LORD is not limited, He can save by many or by few. So, do not be rigid, when God sends you it is not upon you to worry about the mode of transport or the fare to the place.
