Stone finally fell asleep. He hasnt slept all day so I expect he will probably sleep through the night. He was having a hard time adjusting to the hospital environment so I brought his rock and play up which he still loves. The blood work and urine that has come back already so far has been okay other than showing some signs of dehydration. They plan on doing another round of blood work tomorrow. They just started him on some pedialyte at 10ml/hour to see how he will tolerate it and are also letting his G tube vent overnight and trying to see how much bile he is putting out. Tomorrow we will have another X-ray which will be a bit more extensive. They still have him hooked up to the IV for hydration. I brought him up some toys from home so he played a bit with those tonight and seemed happy to have something familiar. Going home was sad because Evelyn was all out of sorts about missing her baby and me leaving. Matt told her he would take her out to get dinner and she said she wanted chuck e cheese so he caved and took her there for some fun. Thats a very special treat for her. I was able to face time with her tonight and she showed me her prizes and even faced timed with our nurse. :) Speaking of nurses... We have the best group of nurses up here! Theyve all come in to check on Stone and see him and say hello. Its so wonderful that they all care about him! Carilion should be so proud to have such an awesome team up here! Anyways, hes snoring away so Im going to take this opportunity to relax a bit and watch some TV before its off to bed. Thank you all for the prayers and support!
