Store and Despatch Manager Punchbowl Packaging is a New Zealand owned and operated packaging company distributing to kiwifruit packhouses from Opotiki to Kerikeri. Based at Priority Logistics store in Mt Maunganui, we have an exciting opportunity available for a positive, forward thinking individual to join our growing company in the Store and Despatch Manager role. This full time position is seasonal for approx. 5 -6 months of the year offering the perfect work-life balance and the opportunity for yearly return work. The successful applicant will take pride in the accuracy of their work, possess excellent organisational skills and a strong team work ethic, with the ability to ‘think on your feet’ to resolve issues in pressure situations. Key responsibilities include: • Picking, confirming and despacthing orders. • Managing inwards and outwards goods. • Managing efficient store layout. • Flexibility to work extended hours to complete all tasks when required. • Accurate stock takes. • Opening store outside of hours for urgent orders. Skills Required: • Strong forklift experience – current license not essential. • Warehouse experience. • Good communication skills. • Sound computer skills. • Flexible ‘can do’ attitude. Previous experience in kiwifruit industry is very beneficial but not essential. Start time early to mid Feb 2015. Potential for ongoing work for a hard working dedicated person.
