Storm Prayer: Almighty Father, how worthy is thy Name, let your kingdom come forth and your will be done on earth as it is heaven. Though typhoon Ruby is inevitable, deal gently with us and save us from any discomfort, O God. We have already suffered in the past typhoons and other kinds of pestilence and afflictions. And though our lives are yours, we plead to spare us anymore further pain and destruction. You have established Your covenant with us and that you said, all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, and neither again be a flood to destroy the earth. .. Have mercy on us, Father God. I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted. [You said to me] who is this that darkens and obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge? Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. [Job 38:2.] [I had virtually said to You what You have said to me:] Hear, I beseech You, and I will speak; I will demand of You, and You declare to me. I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear, but now my [spiritual] eye sees You. Therefore I loathe [my words] and abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes. (Job 42:2-6 AMP) Amen.
