Strangers are something. Today I was depositing my pay check and the lady before me was telling the teller about how the world could use more God. How disgusted she is by the idea that some people simply do not believe in God. She went on to say how she wishes God would come down and smite everyone. No one reads the Bible anymore and the world is going to Hell in a hand basket. She was an elderly lady and I am going to profile but will guess what Church she attends. She continued with how technology is bad and the current president isnt even a half of a joke and she was having a hay day venting to the teller like a drunk does to a bar tender. She had nothing good to relay, nothing on a positive note. I wanted to at least at smile and tell her to have a pleasant weekend. I really did like the way her hair was tied so precisely and perfect. I was searching my mind for something happy and uplifting to say to her. I was hoping she would be as chit chatty with me as she was with the teller. I enjoy talking to strangers and adore the elderly in general. But no. She turned to leave and looked at me and said, Move it, youre probably just a another Heathen destined to Hell just like so many others in the world right now. She continued to mumble something about, me and those like me voting for the jackass in the office and bolted her way pass me. I kept my mouth shut.
