Stress in the environment is every bit as dangerous to the brain - TopicsExpress

Stress in the environment is every bit as dangerous to the brain as chemical toxins, especially for children. A nurturing, consistent relationship can actually prevent this brain damage. We applaud the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and their innovative Child First model to provide a system of support for the most vulnerable young children and families. At NACoA, we are very excited to see other programs similar to our champion Celebrating Families! curriculum that puts the needs of the child first, while incorporating healthy skills for the whole family to practice in a safe and nurturing environment. Early intervention is prevention! https://youtube/watch?v=EZ33vjcK3hk&list=PLqF-bKPCi6Cof4LPDQXDc9lKuf_BSdtea&index=4
