JOB TITLE: Warehouse Foreman REPORTS TO: Tool and Warehouse Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervise daily activities of warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage and retrieval Strong Electric’s assets. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: 1. Supervise receipt of all shipments. Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed. 2. Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart. 3. Load and unload delivery truck by hand or with pallet jack. 4. Assume responsibility for delivery of all items received by warehouse to proper school or department on a daily basis. 5. Evaluate complaints received on shipments of equipment and supplies and take appropriate action. 6. Supervise warehousing and storage of all supplies, equipment, surplus tools and material. 7. Supervise maintenance of computerized inventory records. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of computerized inventory and tracking systems. Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment. Ability to operate personal computer. Ability to communicate effectively. Experience: Two - Five years’ experience in warehouse operations. Background in material handling, purchasing, and stock control. JOB TITLE: Equipment Coordinator Reports To: Asset Director JOB DESCRIPTION: This employee is responsible for the planning and supervising of all owned and rented equipment. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: 1. Planning and moving all owned and rented equipment to designated job sites. 2. Ensuring that the inspection schedule is followed. 3. Ensuring that the preventive maintenance program is followed. 4. Maintaining a complete record of equipment (assignment and logistics) at all times. 5. Evaluating new and current equipment on a regular basis. 6. Assisting in the evaluation of all parts and materials used to maintain equipment. 7. Maintaining records and preparing required reports relevant to the operation of all equipment. 8. Performing other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Functional literacy; ability to communicate effectively. 2. Thorough knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment mechanics. 3. Must be able to work effectively with all Strong Electric personal. 4. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability. 5. Appropriate valid Texas drivers license for vehicle(s) driven. 6. Demonstrated record of safe driving. 7. The ability to two equipment safety (with company provided vehicle). 8. Responsible for securing all needed equipment. 9. Makes the inventory of equipment and assures availability.
