Strong winds are blowing... Have they been, for quite some time... for you too? Relentless, strong, cold, fierce. A challenging. A testing. A shaking... Every area sifted, shifted, weeded and pruned. In the natural its not fun. In the intellectual, your mind is on the run, figuring this.... solving that. Emotions spike up here and there... But in the spirit... there is recognition, realization, and awareness. A knowing, a preparing, a settling... as you hunker down and secure what is most valuable, necessary, and integral. The same face must be show in the bright sun, as well as the bitter winds. The same words of faith must be spoken whether things are divine OR devastating. Pain presses. Stress tries to strangle. Finances fail. Problems try to prevail. The last nail, that holds the last board, that supports the final thing that you are leaning and depending upon... is ripped from its position. And the winds blow all the more. Can you identify? Listen... there is a strong wind coming yet. A stronger, steadier, more powerful wind still coming. A warm, yet fierce wind... that will blow against your back-- pushing you on. The winds of adversity and resistance have stung your eyes and made some of you tempted to be bitter. But no.. Here is the reward for those who hang on; for those who have stood firm.. (teetering perhaps here and there... sometimes taken to your knees in tears.. but not giving up..), focusing on the unseen rather than believing what IS seen. You have been tested, trained, tried, and strengthened... For the wind that is to come. I sense the wind and the power that is coming. Hang on. Now is NOT the time to give up. Now is NOT the time to let your lamp burn down. Now is NOT the time to think that the Bridegroom is not coming, prepared to adorn you with His finest. The flesh cant discern this. The natural man wont receive this. The carnal side wont run with it. The flesh will be trampled by it. And if we live in the flesh-- so shall we. The very winds that destroy all else that is NOT of the spirit.. are the same winds that propel us to incredible heights in Christ. Listen... there is a strong wind coming yet. A stronger, steadier, more powerful wind still coming. A warm, yet fierce wind... that will blow against your back-- pushing you on. Look for it. Expect it. Listen for it. Hope for it. Have faith for it. I wont pretend things have been easy. Each tool that is used, whether in the natural or the spirit---- meets MORE resistance, and increased pressure, the closer it gets to being fully engaged, immersed, and locked in to its complete point of purpose. (think of hammering a nail, or tightening a screw, or locking something down) Strong winds have been blowing... unmerciful and fierce. But God. God has been preparing you for the strongest wind yet to come. Sweeping up and under. Pushing you forward and propelling you upward. Warm, light, powerful.... yet strong and fierce. These are not winds that you must face--- for you are not to look toward them or INTO THEM... (you would not survive anyway)--- These are winds that you must surrender to, flow with, become one with, and participate with...as they come up behind you and lift you higher than you have every known. And in order for YOU to be, speak, look, act, serve, and live as you should be when you are LIFTED UP---- you have need to have endured, and stood secure, and been faithful, when the battles and the storms were knocking you down. 2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Joel 2:28-32 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls. Love you all Believe in you. Hang on..
