#Students in #PalliativeCare (SIPC) in collaboration with Institute of Palliative Medicine celebrates the world #hospice and palliative care day in style!! SIPC the unique regiment constituting of thousands of student volunteers from different arts and science colleges of Calicut, Kerala, battling to organize affordable support programs for the fellow human beings facing the problems associated with chronic and incurable ailments painted the city with colors of compassion at the auspicious occasion of world hospice and palliative care day. Students reached out to hundreds of thousands in the city to generate awareness on palliative care and mobilize resource to support the palliative care activities on in Calicut. The kites of compassion filled the evening sky of the city beach and sprinkled down the seeds of care and support to the heart of many. The 1st announcement of the international conference by SIPC to showcase its experiments with compassion was made jointly by Ms. Amandeep Kaur , Divisional Forest Officer and Luiana Senior Palliative Care Nurse from Seychelles
