Students on conservation courses in the UK can get free support and guidance at the IHBCs 2nd Course Connection Day on 4 Nov in Birmingham. Check with your course director or get them to contact Seán OReilly Director, IHBC: The Institute of Historic Building Conservation ([email protected]) To help develop conservation skills at all levels, the IHBC hosts annual free connection days for students representing UK conservation courses (mostly post-graduate), with IHBC paying student travel costs as well. Our next connection day is on 4 November in Birmingham so if you are interested in going along, or would like to make sure your course is represented there, do check with your course director or ask them to get in touch with me to explore this unique learning and networking opportunity. And remember, its not just for students on the IHBCs recognised courses (see our web site for details at ihbc.org.uk) but for any courses with sufficient built and historic environment conservation content.
