Students’ Federation of India – Tamilnadu State Committee calls for a state wide protest on 06th, August 2014, in front all the state universities demanding the state to conduct the students union election in all the campuses for a democratic atmosphere and to fulfill adequate facilities to all the University affiliated government colleges and to declare the Chikkaiya Naiyakkar College, (Erode Dist) as the government college. The protest headed over by the Sfi State Secretary J Rajmohan in the Capital City of Tamilnadu in front of Chief Secretariat Office. In front of Tiruchy – Bharathidasan University protest headed by Sfi State Vice President P Saravanathamizhan, Madurai – Kamarajar University the protest headed by Sfi State Vice President Mariappan, Tirunelveli – Manonmaniyam Sundaranaar University the protest headed by Sfi State President P Uchimakali and in Coimbatore – Bharathiyar University the protest headed by the District Secretary Deepak and in Salem – Periyar University protest lead by the Sfi State Joint Secretary Kannan. Mean while police brutally attacked the students in the protest near the State Chief Secretariat Office.
