Studying up for a sermon, title which will be, Dont Hold Your Peace from Luke 18:35-39 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. 39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. Dont be too quiet and miss your blessing. Verse 39 says that the people told him to be quiet and hold his peace, but you see what he did, instead of being quiet, he cried out EVEN MORE, asking Jesus to have mercy on him...point 1, sometimes even our friends and family will try and tell us to be quiet and stop talking about and praising Jesus so much. These are the times we need to be like this blind man and cry out EVEN MORE. Cry out for His grace and mercy, because if there was ever a time, we need it....it is right now!
