Stuff I see around town: A young Asian boy (14ish) with short hair and glasses walking down lower Sacramento road. He is wearing headphones plugged into a 7 tablet that he carries in his left hand (probably not smart). Approaching him is an older black man with corn rows who looks like he is either homeless or just really really dirty. He is walking to his own beat. When they are within 20 feet of each other, the black guy puts up his hand in the universal High Five position. The young Asian man slows down, looks around but keeps walking towards the black man. The black man says something that I cant make out. The Asian guy takes of his Dre Beats and puts his tablet in his other hand. The Asian kid puts up his hand and the black guy high fives him and keeps on strolling. It literally takes the Asian kid 20 feet of walking to recover. He keeps looking around (with a stunned look on his face), I assume, for cameras. You werent punkd my young friend. That guy was just living in his own 70s movie montage and you just couldnt hear the funky beat. Best thing I have seen yet this week.
