Stupid Mistakes Your Competitors Are Making Mistake #2 Knocking the Competition... In 14 years I can honestly say that I have NEVER - not even one time, worried about the competition. [To be honest, I think some of them worry about me]. Before we get to todays stupid mistake your competitors are making, lets just consider why it is pointless to worry about the competition. 1. The Fear of Man Brings a Snare... [Book of Proverbs] Worry is one of the most unproductive emotions we can ever experience. Just like a snare chocks the life out of an animal, worry can do the same to you and I as individuals. Without purpose you will lack perspective. Without perspective you will lack perseverance. The 3 Ps Purpose - Perspective and Perseverance are ESSENTIAL if you intend to make it in business. 3. Worry is Pointless. It is like washing a pig. Im serious. It is exactly like washing a pig. It is messy. It has ZERO rules - no beginning, no middle and no end. It is an absolute pain in the butt and worst of all... when you are through, you are not sure if the pig is cleaner and you have no idea what you wasted so much time and energy washing it to begin with! So - DONT Worry, Okay? ===> Now lets look at the STUPID Mistake of Knocking the Competition It doesnt matter if you think they are Barnacles on the Keel of Humanity and you secretly wish all their teeth would fall out except for one [and they get terrible toothache in that one]. If you talk badly about your competition it will ALWAYS only serve to make you look: - - Insecure and Incompetent - - Worried and Anxious - - Bitter and Jealous - - It Will Make People Think You Have Something to Hide - - Unprofessional - - Unfocused - - Untrustworthy Just DONT Do it! Oh and heres the thing... when you knock the competition, dont be so naive as to imagine they wont get to hear of it.
