Subject:: Actinidia Yellow Leaf Spot Blog Actinidia Growers, Please note a Blog/Site has been started to act as a Forum to gather information about Actinidia Yellow Leaf Spot (AYLS). Feel free to forward this link to anyone you know who is growing Actinidia vines: kiwifruitayls.wordpress so we can gather information about AYLS distribution as quickly as possible. The Blog is still in the construction stage but enough is there now to get started. Direct all e-mail pertaining to AYLS to: kiwifruitayls@gmail Basic information about AYLS is currently on the home page of the Blog and was current as of August 1. They hope to post more photos of what AYLS can look like and Maps of its distribution within a week. Also note that AYLS shows on the earliest leaves, not new growth, it is most visible on smooth-skinned species like A. arguta, least visible on hairy skinned species like A. deliciosa, and displays more on potted plants or plants that are stressed rather than those planted in the ground, and appears to be somewhat linked to hot spells in the weather. Aqain, please forward this information to all Actinidia growers you know: kiwifruitayls.wordpress kiwifruitayls@gmail
