Sudan Regime is feeling shy in declaring the natural disaster of Flood and implications of heavy rains, and attribute it to over-prayers asking Allah for Rains...the rains came too much, above the annual average. Some rescue is allowed to arrive from Ethiopia, Egypt, Qatar….etc. Now, the International Specialized Agencies and some Foreign Embassies in Sudan have been called to be part of the Humanitarian assessment teams and are asked to mobilize resources to rescue the affected communities, simultaneously the regime continue in causing the protracted sufferings in Darfur, Blue Nile and South Kordofan /Nuba Mountains. The Embargoes imposed on some NGOs and CSOs to operate in Sudan are still in vigour. The civilians’ suffering continue to grow and the Regime continue its discriminative polices in a complex Sudanese-style Apartheid. The time is ripe and there are sufficient motivations on the table to call for self-determination and to undertake pathways of independence and full autonomy in all the non-state-controlled territories.
